One of the most explosive offensive teams in the pro football 11 season has been Green Bay. In week 4 their offensive coordinator dialed up a play action play late in the 1st quarter that end up being a touchdown. In this X’s O’s Football breakdown, we show why it was such a big play for them.

Initially, Green Bay comes out in a I-Form Twin formation. Both the X and Z receivers are lined up on the left side of the field.

The X receiver is sent in motion to the right.

Only the X and Z receiver are running pass routes. The Z receiver runs a corner post post, while the X receiver runs a post corner post. The play has the halfback running towards the right with the fullback lead blocking.

Once the X receiver breaks towards the post, he is able to gain separation despite their being two defenders covering him.
