In this X’s and O’s video breakdown we take a look at a play action passing play that Dallas ran against New York in week 1 of the Pro Football season. The ball is spotted on the 36 of New York and it’s second and 10. New York is a very aggressive defense that likes to bring plenty of pressure. The Dallas offensive coordinator decides to counter New York’s aggressiveness, by calling a play action play with only two receivers running passing routes. We call this play Singleback Big PA Verticals.
